How come I give The Boy his Neupogen shot every day he needs it and he gets just little tiny freckle marks on his legs, but the past two days the nurses have given them and he has a bruise on each leg now? I'd think that they'd be better at it than me.

One would think that someone who gives multiple shots a day would not leave a bruise. You are such a good mommy to not leave bruises. Poor little guy. I hope he is feeling better.
Could his platelet count have something to do with the bigger bruises? Just a thought. You would think they would be better at giving a shot than that though.
Certainly the low platelet count has to do with it...but even when his platelet count is lousy, I don't usually leave bruises.
