"You'll get used to it."? She's getting on my nerves! I hope she at least checked on it for you. Don't hesitate to harass her and make her fix it if you feel the discomfort is more than it should be.
I hope your second labor goes faster for you.!! My second labor was longer...well, at least the latent stage was. I went from 7cm to baby in my arms in about 30 minutes!
